about

Khor Ting Yan (b.  1995, Singapore) is a Singaporean artist and art educator who graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts with Emphasis in Art Education from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education at National Institute of Education, Singapore. She is currently teaching in a Primary School in Singapore. She works across a variety of media (printmaking, drawing, painting, collage, fibers and textiles, installation) to explore the mundane in both the urban and natural landscape. Her illustrations capture banal moments of the everyday that often go unnoticed, prompting viewers to slow down, and consider that there is too, weight, beauty, and significance in the mundane.
